Heike has always enjoyed music and rhythm.

 

Surrounded with music at home with a father who played the guitar, harmonica, piano and accordion, she loves to share creating music in a group where everyone participates.



Heike moved to Bournemouth in March 2011.  Having lived in London and working in international trading for many years, she found Southbourne a wonderful change. Bournemouth is a vibrant and active place and she found the community spirit here uplifting.

 

Her two daughters are living and working in London but love to visit. Serena occasionally assists in facilitating events - she is a singer and loves playing the piano and drumming is a love she shares with her mother.

Starting a Drum Circle was a dream for Heike for a long time, to take part in musical activities and facilitate others who have never considered making music in a group.
